Rail Head Park is located at the head of the Confederation Trail in Murray Harbour and marks the former “last stop” of the Canadian National Railway line. The park is an ideal place to enjoy a picnic, learn about the local history of the railway, or to start/finish a trail hike or bike ride.

The Confederation Trail is PEI's portion of the Trans Canada Trail. Murray Harbour is the final stop on the Confederation Trail’s 80-kilometre Stratford-to-Murray Harbour branch. Whether you’re setting out to do the tip-to-tip or just taking a couple of hours to walk/bike a short section, the trail is a great way to explore the natural beauty of the area.
